File extension apm information
Apart from identification of Planit’s Alphacam designs, APM extension file is used to specify metafile mapping as well as scaling. The full meaning of this file is Aldus Placeable Metafiles. Before a system plays a metafile, one needs to strip the metafile header. To perform this, one copies the metafile on a transitory file. One begins copying at offset 0x16. AMP file needs association with other files for functionality however, associations leads to development of file errors. Errors within the file lead to failure of system to read Placeable metafiles.
